You may be able to rotate smoothly with the mouse though if you enable the mouse freelook option, but I haven't tested it, it's a legacy from the original dolphin. I don't think I implemented any freelook rotation controls yet. Is that possible somehow?Īlso, how can I reset my orientation (recalibrate) ? I'd like to have 2 hotkeys for left/right snapturns in addition to the smooth rotation syle. Is there a way to combine smooth yaw rotation and comfort mode? It was just awesome! Really great work! Huge thanks to you  WiiMotion-Plus is not detected as well, although I got a Wiimote with integrated WM+.īesides from that, Dolphin VR is really GREAT! I played Mario Kart Wii and Super Mario Galaxy yesterday. Furthermore, pressing the Update button in the 'real Wiimote' controller settings crashes Dolphin if the Dongle is still plugged in. Also I had to remove the Xbox One Controller Dongle - otherwise, no connection to the Wiimote could be established. No problems with other Dolphin builds like Ishiiruka. The games get completely crazy inputs from the Nuchuk, like pressing the Z button (although I don't do so) and the control stick always outputs up or left even when moving it to the opposite direction. I guess it is somehow related to DolphinVR running at only 75fps.Īnother problem that I encounter is the Nunchuk going crazy when using a real Wiimote and a real Nuchuk together with a DolphinBar (that Sensor Bar with integrated Bluetooth receiver developed for use with Dolphin). In general, check if there are 'hide objects' codes available for the game you want to play in VR and also check further instructions in the VR tab in the game's properties.Īnother question to 2EyeGuy: How far are you in implementing pullup and timewarp for the CV1 and the Vive (so 90fps instead of 75fps)? When moving your head really fast, you sometimes see a black frame at the FOV's edge. Using these parameters, you can zoom out to get a miniature look with less camera movements (=> less motion sickness) that reminds of Lucky's Tale. You might want to try to change the scale multiplier, the units per metre and the camera forward. Any Rift movements however will work at 75fps (like position tracking or orientation tracking). The game itself will only run at 30fps, the same goes for camera movements done by the game (like by moving Mario or using the C-Stick to control the camera). However, some water reflections are still broken (at least for me), for example multiple wells in Delfino Plaza. Try to see if using Direct3D in favour of OpenGL works better (or vice versa). Then close the window and go to the VR Configuration. Then go to the 'Hide Objects' tab and activate all 'Remove. Try right-clicking Super Mario Sunshine in the Images list, select settings or properties or whatever it is called in English. Razer Hydra works (and can be used as a Nunchuk+Wiimote) but the button mapping is hardcoded, and you can't see your hands 12GB RAM, GTX 980 as well] The Vive controllers aren't implemented yet. Some games have Hide Object Codes and AR Cheat Codes to make them work better in VR, which you can find by right clicking a game in your game list in dolphin and choosing properties, then going to those tabs.ĭon't forget to set your Graphics, VR, and Controller options. Some work almost perfectly, and some are unplayable. See tutorials online for how to dump games for Dolphin. If you have a Wii or a Wii U (it doesn't need to be modded) and an external hard-drive or USB memory stick, then you can install homebrew channel and use it to dump games. You will need to rip your GameCube or Wii games to your hard-drive or USB stick, because most optical drives can't read them directly. In the Oculus app window, click on the cog > Settings > General > Unknown Sources. And some things may be hardcoded for DK2, like Metroid Prime visors, and haven't been fixed.īefore you can run applications (like Dolphin VR) outside Oculus Home, you need to have Unknown Sources enabled. And I have not pulled the last several months of Dolphin updates, so it is not current with master. ![]() And I'm not even sure that Opcode Replay mode is working correctly. It still has some bugs, for example the mirror window isn't working on Direct3D yet. I finally got around to updating Dolphin VR for CV1 and SDK 1.3. EDIT: new version: Download Dolphin VR 5.0ĭK1 version: Dolphin VR 5.0 for Runtime 0.8
